This unique concern or priority becomes a targeted effort of a magnitude and complexity that impacts (directly or indirectly) what is possible across the organization.
A Strategic Initiative must include specific performance outcomes that when met ensures both near and long term success and demonstrate new levels of performance.
2. IDENTIFY THE CRITICAL ISSUES
When a Strategic Initiative is well-formulated, critical issues naturally arise and take on new importance and urgency. Many of the issues are systemic and have been known and worked for a long time without successful resolution. They are now seen in a new light and become the access to successfully realizing the strategic initiatives.
3. DETERMINE THE NATURE OF THE CHALLENGE
If there is a known solution for the challenge, a transactional approach is called for. If no known solution exists to meet all your commitments, our transformational approach is a match.
Transactional and Transformational Approaches
Transactional approaches are excellent for achieving incremental improvements to routine business challenges. Examples include: Upgrading processes, implementing best practices, providing training or modifying sales performance plans to motivate people’s performance.
