The executive expectation placed on this project team was that through successful delivery this company would become Russia’s number one “go to” company for the production of oil and gas.
The Challenges
This complicated and massive international project posed high risks. The complexities included extreme remote locations, industry supplier backlog, qualified worker shortages, a multi-cultural work force speaking many different languages and numerous subcontractor locations around the world. The client needed an integrated performance approach to ensure the successful completion of this multi-billion dollar capital project.

Over a two-year period, we delivered integrated performance consulting services and that included alignment workshops across all key interfaces, individual and team coaching, work and planning sessions every 100 days and project management support. We worked with senior project leaders to customize our consulting specifically for their challenging multi-national, multi-cultural project environment.
Results
As a result of this two-year assignment all key milestones were met. The project successfully delivered on an interim early oil commitment of 50,000 boe for domestic use and came in 30 days earlier that the ultimate first oil date, on budget and with an extraordinary safety record - previously unheard of within the realm of complex oil and gas projects.
